The apartment is in historic Mexico city downtown area, close by to metro stations Balderas** (being the closest one), Bellas Artes, Juarez and-or Insurgentes. All kinds of services, products and amenities are around the block: bakery, OXXO (24-7 corner store practically downstairs), drugstore, coffee shops, restaurants, traditional markets, supermarkets, museums, bars, bookstores, libraries, handcraft markets, etc. are all walking distance. It is very close to Bellas Artes opera house and same block as where the Museo de Arte Popular is located, around 5 min walk from the Metropolitan and the Sheratton Hotel centro historico, meaning that Alameda central park is in the 'hood (if you like parks, there's a small one 2 blocks from here and the bigger ones at Biblioteca Ciudadela). It is also very close to Zona Rosa and Roma-Condesa areas as well as Insurgentes and Reforma avenues.
Apart from being extremely well situated, it is incredibly nice and quiet inside. The street where it is located is very easy, safe, well communicated and touristic mostly habitational with some trees all along.
The apartment is inside a secluded complex with door guard 24-7, and green areas. It is in the 5ft floor with NO elevator, so take into consideration that. There's a CAT and some plants. The apartment is small but cozy with suspended-wood new flooring. There's anything you might need to comfortably live in: fully equipped kitchen with microwave, gas stove, big fridge, and any kitchen item you may need; purified drinking water; dining and living area with tv (no cable) and stereo; laundry mat inside the apartment, so there's no need for you do the hassle of taking your dirty clothes to the closest laundry mat and pay $$$ a lot! Just put your clothes in the fully automated machine and it will play a song when the clothes are cleaned.
You'll get your own room, nicely ventilated and very sunny, and as we are in the 5ft floor; the view is very nice and just from outside your window. There's a bed with clean bed clothes, a desk with chair and a closet.
