Project/Development Funding in Central America
We are GrupoREMC de Costa Rica SA, headquartered in Costa Rica. We live here, full time, know the markets, the challenges, the competitors, and the viable lenders that like Costa Rica, Panama &
Central America. If you have a project that can meet the following guidelines, we have the lenders, private equity firms, hedge funds, private investors, etc to fund your project.
We do not charge any upfront fees and are paid if and only if the financing actually closes.
To submit a project, you will need…………………
1. A professional business plan, detailing the project, permits and approvals, equity, values, marketing plans, sales plans, concepts, architectural, engineering, progress to date, exit strategy, and much more.
2. Detailed accounting of all funds spent to date
3. Detailed pro-formas showing uses of funds to date, the new loan amount and uses, costs of total project, time frames, etc
4. All corporate documentation for the borrowing entity.
5. In today’s market, if you do not have at least 15%-25% already invested, you are not going to find viable funding sources.
6. As the process continues, you will need appraisals, site inspections, personal and corporate finances and other requirements set by the lender.
7. Typical lenders will lend up to 100% of the required funds, from $2 million and up with no limit for the right projects. We have a limited number of lenders that will go down to $500,000 loan amounts but the projects need to be eco and very green.
